After leaving the military service Jonathan wanted to find another way to serve. He discovered that there were successful tax and legal professionals that needed advanced tax and liquidity planning strategies delivered and maintained for their clients. Jonathan’s network of relationships deliver strategies like ESOP, Captive Insurance, Private Placement Life insurance, Tax Deferred Strategies, Charitable and Liquidity planning strategies. Jonathan specializes in cash flow planning for funding large portfolios of life insurance for his clients. For example, many successful businesses and families need large life insurance portfolios to equalize estate transfer to the next generation, pay taxes, protect the business and family from premature death of a key person or create tax efficient income. However, these clients lack the cash flow necessary to fund the insurance premiums. Or, they have the cash flow necessary to pay the premiums. But, they want to find a more efficient way to make the payments. Jonathan provides customized cash flow solutions called premium and private financing and provides the long-term maintenance and care of these strategies for his clients and their advisors. Jonathan is life insurance carrier agnostic. He has built relationships with “AAA” rated life insurance companies to ensure his clients get the best pricing and are coupled with an insurance company that fits their unique situation. Jonathan has built relationships with most of the lending institutions and vendors that provide commercial premium and private financing solutions in the US and abroad to ensure the client gets the best loan rates and a loan structure that works for each unique client profile.

Jonathan also founded a humanitarian organization called Orphans of War in response to the orphan crisis he witnessed during his time in Iraq.

Jonathan is married and has 4 children.
